CANCER UK-SALONE is an international non-profit Charity registered with the UK Charity Commission and UK Funding Regulators. This charity was born from the disparities in cancer services, advocacy, education and safe care with empathy for cancer patients and their families in isolated communities and areas where patients cannot be reached especially women and children with cancer.
Our aim is to bridge the care gap, relieve sickness and preserve health amongst vulnerable and underprivileged people battling with cancer in deprived London (England) communities and Sierra Leone (West Africa). Our founder and President Ms. Tina Davies OBE, OOR has worked extensively over 20 years in healthcare especially with cancer patients in both the UK and Sierra Leone.
On 11 May 2022 she established CANCER UK-SALONE to "Bridge The Care Gap" and to serve as an antidote to despair the disproportionalities amongst ethnic minorities, cancer patients in the UK and cancer patients with no voice and services in Sierra Leone.
CANCER UK-SALONE delivers the right support that is meaningful to the service users and their loved ones. Educate, advocate, protect the well-being of our service users whilst we build the capacity of our volunteers, healthcare and allied healthcare professionals to enable them provide evidence based support to our service users throughout their journey.

Working in partnership
The Charity works in partnership with organisations and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality and safe service in the community and ensure people’s human rights and best interest are protected. We will foster sustainable relationships between health professionals, parents, patients, relevant community interest groups and the media (where appropriate). Partnerships will facilitate public education, cancer awareness and active participation in prevention and care programmes.
